I think this could solve a lot of problems.

  1. Curating is actually lots of work. You have to do it every day. If you have lots of SP and are rich, you probably have better things to do.

  2. A market for curation could create professional curators, which would probably do a better job at selecting great content.

What I don't understand is why you believe the price should not be determined by a market? How else would you come up with an ideal price?

    You must have misunderstood. I do think the price should be determined by the market. Hence the reason for the rshares/SD auction market.
