War between witnesses, there are many who should not be so high, and there are others who should not be on the list of principal witnesses.

Although I am a newcomer here, since I only have 4 months on this platform. From the beginning I have noticed great problems that Steemit suffers I have made it known in past publications where I mentioned the problem of distribution of wealth, the misuse of SP among whales etc.

Today touches a topic that all users should care, and is the witnesses because in recent days, there has been much controversy for the aforementioned, as one that for me should be among the best 10 witnesses, and I will take the boldness to mention it @asbear, I create a new tool that shows the use of the vote among the first 20 witnesses.

And as expected between 40-60% of the votes of the main 20 witnesses are exchanged among themselves, which in my opinion should not be so bad, as long as they do a good job for the community but all the witnesses help the community? To be frank I think not, the vast majority support projects that leave more benefits for themselves than for the community in general.

That's why there is a small dispute between the main witnesses now, like for example the one of @pharesim with @jerrybanfield in which I personally support with eyes closed to @pharesim since in my opinion this man should be among the first 5 witnesses, his support for the "Minnows" is one of the most notable in this platform, and although not everything that @jerrybanfield does this badly, supports in one way or another the awarding of bad content although nowadays anyone with some SBD or STEEM, you can take a shit publication to the trends page with the use of services such as those provided by the aforementioned. That is why I support and understand @pharesim when it takes away the support of all those who vote @jerrybanfield as a witness.

An excellent idea to get out of this problem, is to follow the recommendations of @therealwolf. Which in his latest publication justify his votes to witnesses, and mostly supports the main developers of Steem and although not all have projects to help minnows, the vast majority develop software to make this a better platform.

Maybe this publication is dismissed as bad by users who already have time here, but with what little I have here I know that there is a very big problem with regard to the award of bad content, and although the content that I upload daily is bad (Crytocurrency TA) I speak for many other people who upload really quality content and their publications are undervalued.

Therefore, through this publication I invite you to reflect and choose more carefully the people for whom you vote as a witness, since the truth is not an insignificant issue since they are directly responsible for making the quality content is awarded.

Finally I invite all the people who support my point of view to reSteem this publication so that it can reach as many people as possible, who did not like it, I invite you to reflect your point of view commenting.

I agree that it is important for users to review who the witnesses are carefully and vote for the ones they feel are doing the best for the platform. If users don’t want to take the time to do all the research, it is a good option to proxy their witness votes to another informed user who they feel will make good decisions with the vote.

In fact, it would be another solution to this problem, but if I'm honest, I think I should better inform all new users about this topic, as I said in my publication, I only have 4 months here, but I learned exactly about the witnesses and the function that I met because I saw a publication of @pharesim 6 days ago, and I think most of the new users are still unaware of the issue, so I think that users or witnesses with the largest number of followers should publish more information about it.

And the truth thank you very much, I am honored that you have been able to read my publication, I read your publication about how bad the double production is and I really loved it, regards.

I just saw your wallet message about this post.

You said "the vast majority support projects that leave more benefits for themselves than for the community in general", which is 100% true. And as you said, there is a lot of rewarding of bad content and shit in general. Scammers and opportunists found every possible way to exploit the reward pool and are creating more opportunities to pad their wallets every single day.

I don't have too much to say about Jerry since the main issue anyone has with him is the misinformation he spreads. The problem there isn't necessarily Jerry but the fact that no one else spreads that much information externally and as a result, everyone finds his content and are misinformed.

There's a difference between developers who build on the blockchain (create apps, make bots, etc) and developers who work on the blockchain (suggest changes, test features, etc). They're both developers but not the same.

Thank you very much, I really honor with your prompt response. If what you say about Jerry is true, but I really believe that the problem is not the information that he spreads. Because although it is a platform with free will and everyone can publish what they want, it is in the user to believe him or not, I think the main problem of this platform is in the voting BOT's. since they send junk content to the top and in the process they double or triple the main investment of the user, but we are already leaving the topic.

As for your last point, I know the difference between developers well. In fact my stack profession is Ing software and in the publication I was referring to developers who work in blockchain since the vast majority of them own or execute RPC nodes.

I don't disagree, the bots do promote all the crap to the very top. It's like garbage floating in the ocean. Garbage floats on the surface where everyone sees it and below the water is where the coral and the fish and all the good things are that no one sees and that gets overtaken with said garbage.

You may be interested in checking out the steem githubs then.

Strongly agree, in fact right now I will see the Steem repositories. Thanks again and regards.
