The Bunyip State Park fire in the Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia, started on Friday 1 March by a cluster of slow moving thunderstorms that produced over 28,000 lightning strikes of which, just over 2,000 made contact with the ground. On Saturday morning, the fire was around 900 Ha in size, but after becoming plume dominant with pronounced pyroconvection on Saturday and Sunday, coupled with a wind change late Sunday, has grown to over 14,000 Ha as of the afternoon of Monday 4 March.

That's really bad! I hope wildfire can be stopped and then the area will hopefully recover.

Thanks @raserrano we certainly hope so. Currently a size of 14,500 Ha. Not sure of losses as of yet. Thoughts go out to all those affected.

Yeah I guess owning a tiny house that you could probably escape with seems like a smart plan.
