Quite a lucid essay on the disease that infests the 'free press'.
The only quibble I have is this.
"...Paypal, which was a spin-off from Ebay..."
This is factually incorrect, as Paypal was purchased by Ebay after it was independently created.
Otherwise, the essay is spot on.
