What The Flag
The only reason for flagging is if someone threatens my life. I'd rather ignore the rude people and focus on my supporters and those I support. Energy flows better that way. If you catch my eye I upvote you whether I'm a follower or not. I find focusing on those who will help us rather than wasting our good energy on people who seem to ruffle our feathers or drain us is a wise way to blow off negative steem.
