Where on Wednesday twenty four: G-dog's Christmas message

It's that time of year when we all celebrate the true meaning of Christmas...You know, getting presents, eating and drinking! That's right folks...That's what it's all about, so I hope you've all been good and have spent way too much at the mall this year!

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all my followers for tagging along for another year with me...Also those new ones who have discovered my nutbagery and post-shenanigans during the year. Sometimes I don't know why I write what I do, but it all comes from the heart, from inside the oft-delusional mind of yours truly, and I'm glad you put up with me.

To those who actively engage with me I'd like to offer a special thanks...I really appreciate you...Really. It is your engagement, the back and forth we have, that brings my blogging here on steem to life and without your comments...Well, it would suck major ass.

To those who have supported me along the way I'd like to thank you and say how grateful I am that you are along for the ride, especially those most recently who have offered a little additional assistance in a challenging time. (You know who you are - Thank you so much.)

I'll be spending Christmas with my brother (the steem one who stays anonymous here) and his family, the first Christmas for many years spent with one of my siblings.

Not only do I get to make them feel welcome, but I have a new family member to welcome, (and corrupt) as my 16-month-old nephew is here too. He's so bloody cute! In the role of good-bad-uncle it's my job to teach him (good) bad stuff! Seriously though, I am pretty keen to spend this Christmas with family around and only wish that more of them could be here. I might get a little emotional...But don't tell anyone ok?

You can see me pictured wearing a typical Aussie hat, one with corks hanging from the brim...It shoos the flies away you see...Seriously, us Aussies are inventive huh. (Actually, I've never seen anyone wear one.) There's a Christmas tree there too but Faith and I don't do presents...We simply want to be together, this year with more family around, relax and enjoy some food and each others company. Probably, as you read this, I am almost certainly winning at Pictionary...And drinking a beer.

To whomever may be reading this...I wish you a very merry Christmas! I hope you've got your 2020 goals in place and have plans attached to reach them. Life is too short to waste, so get after it in 2020 and create your best life.
