The Shopping Game: 24 July 2020 -$1.30 dimsum in Singapore

in #wherein5 years ago (edited)

It's weekend again, so we decided to award ourselves a better breakfast- dimsum.

I get to know from a colleague that there is a dimsum stall at nearby which their selling point is all dimsum sell at $1.30 per plate. As such their dimsum stall called "Kuai San DimSum" which literally means $1.30 in Chinese.

Located not too far even with walking distance, never did we try breakfast at this food court (sob sob , need explore more this area in future)

We were so lucky today , that the time we reached only 2 people in the queue and easily get a table for ourselves.

As you can see from the photo, each item is $1.30 , some small item they put quantity of two in 1 plate.

Well, as the saying goes by , you don't expect great food with bargain. The dimsum here is not the best I had in Singapore, but some of them really a good one. I would say this is good price with dimsum. My personal take is century egg porridge and shrimp dimsum.

Moreover, this stall operate 24hours non stop- any time you feel hungry , you can just come and eat dimsum till you drop because each is only S$1.30.

Total spending for our breakfast cum brunch today. S$1.30 X 7 =S$9.10 , which is equivalent to USD$6.58 , 31.20 Steem

That's great very reasonable price actually.

I also don't like to wait in long queue to get what i want. But sometime you don't really have much of choice.

True that.

That's actually a little expensive if you compare it with Indian breakfast charges. But thank you for this post. I really enjoyed and the places looks great where you made purchases!

Thanks for commenting. Yup , $1.30 could be quite expensive in some places. But in Singapore, $1.30 is like price of a cup of coffee or tea in hawker center. This quite a center of topic.

only 1.3 .... very cheap leh

Haha that's why a lot people there take it like added dishes. Mixed rice plus 2 or 3 plate dimsum
