RE: DIY (Herb) Infused Wodka - Recipe

in #whatscookingchallenge7 years ago (edited)

When I lost my first job as a teacher, I wanted to do something else. It started with my own webshop, but soon I got involved in internet marketing and website development.
After 15 years I was so tired of writing the same, recycled sales pages and email follow-up series I decided I needed a break. That wqs around the same time I got into crypto
For more than a year I dedicated my time to learning how crypto worked (very basic, because tech is not my cup of tea). After a while I started building crypto-related websites and promoted crymto-related (affiliate) products.

Then I bumped into Steemit which absorbed all my time.
I still have a couple of websites, and a +20k mailing list, but everything is as good as dormant.

Every once in a while, I start to feel that itch again: when I come across a wordpress plugin or a software tool with potential, I find oit the passion is starting to grow again.

However, a lot of work needs to be done before I can get started again. I have been really stupid and missed the renewal opportunity of my main website domain. It has now been sold to someone else, so I can't use my own brand name anymore.

Maybe, one day, I'll have the time , energy and courage to start again :0)

howdy today @simplymike! it is probably already late afternoon there I'm not good on these time differences but wow what an interesting ride you've had online!
did you have decent success in internet marketing? I tried it for a couple of years and was looking for some way to make money online when I found Steemit, but you were actually doing it and for such a competitive market that was impressive of you to be able to survive and make money.

Is it true that 95% of internet marketers fail to make any money?
But if the price of Steem goes back up, which I think it will, and Steemit continues to grow and improve, will you still seek other marketing ventures?
I'm sorry you lost your main domain name, what was it? that had to sting.
thanks so much simplymike, are you still out there doing the dreadful walking?
