(EN) Adopting a rescued dog from Romania

Me and my partner are wanting a dog for a long time. In Brazil there is plenty of street dogs that NGO's make possible to adopt. Here in the Netherlands there is 0 street dogs (wooow) and then I thought we would have to buy a dog. Then I found NGO's here that brings pets from areas where there is still have a lot of homeless dogs, mainly Romania and Greece, brings to the Netherlands and get the chip, european passport, vaccines and put for adoption. The website that I found Amy is called verhuisdieren.nl, it is like a tinder for animals who need a house. There you can put your preferences (for example size, age, if the animals goes well with another animals, with kids, and so on) and they find your matches.

With a fee of at least 20 euros you can become a supporter of the website, and then you can see the contact information from your matches. We really liked 2 dogs and we called. One was not possible to adopt anymore and the other one was amy. 2 years-old and a small dog. The onwer of the NGO asked some questions and send 2 people to see our apartment, to check if it is safe, if there is area for the dog walk and if we are nice people. We passed this part.
Now we are about to meet Amy, and if everything goes right, we will bring her home!
