The Team of Wemark

Wemark was found by Tai Kaish, Pavel Elkind, and Roy Meirom. They have their own role and position in the company. Tai is the CEO. Tai has an expertise in digital marketing. He has led so many projects, organizations, and startups of top brands in Israel for more than a decade. Due to his strong experience, he has been invited regularly by lots of schools and academies to be a guest lecturer talking about marketing and business. Like Tai, Pavel Elkind, the CTO, also has more than ten years of experience but in a different field. His focus is on software engineering and management. He successfully managed numerous high profile projects. He also acquires some Israeli companies. The other founder is Roy Meirom. His excellence is in business development strategies primarily in building a strategic partnership. These abilities have brought him to be a successful serial entrepreneur.

These three founders lead a team consisting of marketing specialist, crypto specialist, UI designer, and many others. The team is working with experienced investors to develop the protocol and grow the company. There are also some advisors that help the team with network effects, the blockchain, copyrights, and many other things.

The Roadmap

The project began in May 2017 where the company raised a pre-seed round to prepare the creator waiting list launch. In September 2017, the creating waiting list was launched. It was quite successful as it was signed up by more than a thousand of photographers in the first week. In the very beginning of 2018, Wemark launched its first product. In the following month, the advisory board was announced followed by the announcement of Wemark partners. This April Wemark released its whitepaper and websites and announced the TGE.

Next month, which is in May, the TGE will be held. After the sales end, in June, Wemark will launch the alpha version of Wemark.com, followed by the launching of “Wemark Pioneers” as one of the programs for customers. In the last quarter of 2018, Wemark will launch the beta version and release the new payment method. In 2019, the plan will be supporting the digital content with some new types.

Through Wemark, photographers will keep the rights to their work. Besides, they are able to control the price of their contents. More importantly, they can earn much higher revenue than they can get from traditional marketplaces. All of the processes in content distributions from licensing to revenue distributions are conducted with full transparency.
