Will this be the #1 solution for weight loss?

Losing weight. I know at least 629852458 women (and some men, too) who'd like to get rid of some kilos. Well, that is my intention too.
But, i am a planning kind of person. Only things that are written down really exist. ( May not apply to e v e r y t h i n g). So, with that in mind, i decided to write down my plan in a notebook (if anyone is interested in how i keep track of my goals, weight loss progress, rules and stuff in my notebook, i will do a post on that as well).

But you didn't come here to hear about my mindset, but to get a one way ticket to weightloss. And i can tell you, this will provide you great results. But, there is one thing left for you (and me as well):
DOING IT!
So, here are the guidelines i set for myself:

  • Eating lot's of water - rich foods. Which means, lot's of berries, apples, cucumber, you name it - lot's of fruit and vegetables. They help you to fill full immediately, without taking in too many calories. Also eating fiber rich foods to help one feel full for longer.

  • Buy healthy foods. You won't eat chocolate if there isn't any. You will eat a salad if there is some. Simple as it is.

  • Also, prepare healthy snacks. Snacking on blueberries or snacking on chips can make a huge difference.

  • Always, ALWAYS, have gum on hand. It helps you to control your appetite and makes you feel less hungry. Same with....

  • Green tea. Don't sweeten, as isolated sugar is a) unhealthy and b) comes with extra calories.

  • Eat mostly plant based. Plants have less calories than the same amount of animal foods. Have less calories simply by switching from steak to tofu. Or to beans. Or salad.

  • Know hidden calories. Salad = salad? False. Often lot's of calories in the dressing. Opt for lower calorie stuff.

  • stay in your calorie range. Weight loss is simple:
    Calories eaten < calories burned
    Keeping a food journal (as i said, i'd show you
    mine if there is interest) helps you to keep track of how much you've eaten. I set a certain amount of calories i want to eat daily (and no more).

  • Hasn't she forgotten something? One might ask. And nope. How could i forget about drinking water. You heard it a million times before. I tell you another time. Life's great.

Soooo, this are the food guidelines i set for myself. I will keep you updated whether I was able to stick to them. Also will share my workout/ exercise rules and routine in one of my next posts. Lot's of love and carrots ❤
