DON'T WAIT TO BE TOLD SORRY! //by @holayemine (100% Powered Up)
Good day Steemians, how is our weekend going? Let's discuss something this weekend.
Over the years, there are some words that we expect everyone to have at their disposal, words like Please, Sorry and Thank you, among other important words. Saying sorry is not a show of weakness like many believe it to be but a true show of strength(maturity). When and how often do you have to say sorry depends on your maturity.
Let's consider sorry as a comforting word.
When you are in pains, not everyone will tell you sorry before you should get better.
Not that those who don't tell you sorry are mean. They may also be going through pains and also waiting to be told sorry.
The rare case is when you know you are going through pains, yet you comfort others who are going through pains too.
When someone ask you, How are you? If you are not fine, say you are not. Don't act up. Just say what's the matter with you. Your solution can come from that person's suggestion.
Also, you need to understand that the pain you go through should not limit you from being empathetic, from helping others to ease their pains.
If you know exactly what that person needs to be better, say it. If you don't know, just encourage that person to be positive and hopeful.
No matter what you are,
No matter what happens to you, God can still use you. So, He will help you to be fine.
Don't wait to be told sorry first before you should be intentional about getting better. You can even tell yourself sorry and keep your hope alive. That's because you need to live, you need to be strong for others who are weak.
Much love for @steemalive for the encouragement through their services.
Let's enjoy the weekend.
Stay safe 😷
