Get Off The Greens! Mega Thunderstorm On Approach, No Chance For Escape This Time - Mega Storm Part 1 May 15th 2018

Everyone was out on the links today with such a beautiful first part of the day leading up to this mega storm, I cant blame any of them for wanting to get out today... but I typically do my weather research before I go golfing to make sure the weather will nice and fair for a good outing. I mean, a typical round can last around a 4 hour event.. I would say that deserves some thought into what the weather might be like that day.

I had the birdcam up for as long as I felt safe with the approaching wind wall, and managed to capture a whole lot of beautiful shots of this storms cloud front. Extreme low hanging clouds are always a great sign of some high winds coming next.

Whenever a massive storm like this brews up, it's canopy of clouds becomes so massive as it plumes up and out at the boundary layer between tropo and stratospheres, it creates a unique situation in the sky every time. Situations I find very aesthetic in nature to the human eye.

I also love the power of nature. Massive thunderstorms represent the virility and raw power well.
