What do I need to do to be come rich?

In my experience there are 4 ways to be rich.

Inheritance. Your family are already rich and you get some but that means someone in your family already did one of the following 3 options.

Gamble. That may mean winning by total chance or professional gambling where you study a lot and increase the odds in your favour. With the latter it overlaps with number 3.

Work. This is the option that most people take and can be split generally into 2 categories.

Do - Doing a job for a company that is owned by someone else. This is what 99% of people do. Innovation is minimal and getting ‘rich’ this way is hard. Those who do it generally transition into 3b.

Innovate - Find a niche in the market and cater for it. This is risky and a lot of new businesses fail but the rewards can be huge. It also takes a huge amount of work generally compared to 3a. Think of all the rich people you know of and likelihood they fit in here. Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg etc.

Crime. Rob houses, banks, embezzle (started off in 3a or 3b), launder money, counterfeit money, deal drugs or be a pimp etc etc. Again high risk for the obvious reasons but the rewards can be huge. Crime does pay for some people but they are rare and unless you like being paranoid I would stay clear.
