The pursuit of wisdom: Giving wealth to those who love me, filling their houses with treasures. Proverbs 8:21

The wise King Solomon wrote many books such as the Book of Wisdom, Ecclesiastes, and Proverbs, and in all of them, he left an enormous legacy of wisdom to instruct men in the most noble and perfect science. It is important to know that regardless of the religion and the particular faith that is prophesied, wisdom is the science that orders man to blessedness, or in other words, wisdom orders all the other sciences of man to their correct and orderly use, as science wisdom is the knowledge of the correct means to live. Without the science to live, and this is a factual truth, only tyranny, oppression, and fear remain, and this can be seen even in the modern world.
But in the face of this situation, it is also important to reflect that because of her perfection, wisdom is a grace, and not a natural virtue of the soul like prudence and justice; only those who are reborn from above as Jesus taught can receive this spiritual gift. This is why the pursuit of wisdom as the highest good for man is so difficult, she does not let herself be easily caught.
And King Solomon, in his desire to educate his people, the nation of Israel, wrote valuable advice in his book Proverbs.
In a world dominated by greed, error, and ignorance, King Solomon described in his sapiential book how wisdom provides men with the most excellent and the best, and this exceeds happiness which is an emotion of the human soul, and with these words, Solomon expressed this truth:
"I walk the way of righteousness;
I follow the paths of justice,
giving wealth to those who love me,
filling their houses with treasures" Proverbs 8:20-21.
Those who follow the path marked out by wisdom follow the righteous path, that is, a safe, predictable path free of destructive unforeseen events, like the path that is traveled at dawn and not in the dark, and this path brings with it a special benefit, hope. Wisdom exceeds happiness and is its true source, taught Solomon, but to understand this requires a prepared heart, that is, a heart that fears God.
