Chicago Riverwalk has become the latest victim of shootings.

31 people have been shot during the course of the weekend which has not come to a end yet. Two men were shot on the new Riverwalk that received high praise when open earlier this year , has now succumb to latest gun violence. Chicago has many good things going for it but at this pace those good things will soon give away to gun violence. If this keeps up , signs will soon read around town 'travel at your own risk. This is beyond police control let be honest a police officer can not see the future before it happens, so stopping a gun crime before it happens is impossible to say the least. I do give the police of Chicago an a for effort and stand with them but let's face we need some help from above.
