12. Breguet Classique 7147; something we need more of
Hi everybody,
It's time to bring some class back. Let me show you something that isn't being made anymore (well, not many), because of the current ''crazy'' bigger and brighter waves through the watch industry.

Last post I covered my vintage Tudor (https://steemit.com/watch/@watchesdaily/11-vintage-tudor-oyster-why-i-sold-it-and-why-i-am-stupid) and this Breguet is bringing that vintage feel! It's simplistic and exquisite, a very clean look with a lot of details. This is done in such a subtle way, that even with all those details the dial doesn't jump out too much.

The back; you don't see that often, an open backcase on such a classy watch. If you do it, do it like this. Keeping the consistency with the dial pattern on the rotor. Not too much, besides the engraving on the edge of the movement. It's just so classy you almost want to buy a cane, a top hat and a monocle just by staring at a piece like this.
I do wish they made it a little bit smaller, it's 40mm. Maybe I'll just need to get the ladies version of one of those, if I ever have $17,000 to spare on a watch you don't really wear daily. The strap was also a bit rough, it was brand new of course, but you don't wear this a lot, so a more supple strap would be nice.
All in all, amazing classy watch! With all the small details it definitely differentiates itself from other classic looking watches.
What do you think about more classic watches?
Kind regards,
Ron
Can you'll see a thumbnail? Not showing again...
