Veteran's day was once Armastice day. A day to celebrate peace and the end of war. I dont support war, and I appreciate your article Caitlin, because more is needed these days than to just be against war. We as a people need to do something, I've realized I would like to do something. Whether its a post, a conversation with a friend, neighbor, stranger, a march, I have started to realize that I am able to help the cause and dont have to wait for someone else to do what I feel must be done. My civic responsibility doesnt start and stop on election day, but is part of each and every day of my life. And as long as my tax money is being used to support an imperialist and aggressive military that I dont agree with, my opposition to it will continue.
