How many times have you heard that Christianity is a religion of peace?

How many times have you heard that Islam is a religion of peace?

How many times have you heard that Judaism is a religion of peace?

Throughout centuries of history of these religions, you will find inclination for intolerance, violence, and war. All three condone war in the name of their religion, all three have had wars in conquest of their religions, all three have killed in the name of their religion.

You're grouping people with the perpetrators of crimes and painting everyone broadly as a criminal, that doesn't make Christianity a Religion of War, nor does it demonstrate ANYTHING about any religion being the problem for WAR.

All 3, except you're speaking upon groups of people and making huge generalizations without any context, I expect you can demonstrate each and every one of the assertions, least demonstrate that the Religion itself is Inherently FOR war and not peace, and you seem to take us "back in history", is that recent history even, and what about the numerous massacres and genocides that were promoted by Conquest, Might equates Right? It was because the Church blessed the conquest that makes it the issue of religion?

All the people who go to war wear shirts, therefore shirts are the cause of all wars.

You can go all the back to the crusades and follow it up through the times. If you really want to find out the heart of all the hatred in the middle east just takes some time and look at all the different groups willing to kill each other over religion. I was a moderator on a middle east blog site and I sat down and tried to honestly figure it all out, it just can't be done, it's heartbreaking and depressing because it can be the most minute difference that makes or breaks it for most of them. It would be no different for example then if Christians attacked Catholics, or Mormons attack Baptist on a daily basis in this country. In the middle east they have no problem with genocide based on religion.

Of course we can, that's why I asked you to demonstrate that religion is for War and not Peace, to which you came back again and again with nothing but assertive generalities which I am to take to mean that they are True and Correct and Complete picture of Religion is the Cause for Conflict (which again that conflict in this conversation's context extends only to the last few decades). In closing you have nothing to demonstrate that Religion is for WAR outside that some people who call themselves religious are willing to do horrible and grotesque things in the "name" of religion, which to you demonstrates that religion is the problem. Not all muslims are alike, not all muslims wish death to the infidel.
