Listen to the Waves Lap as the Tide Comes In

(Video 0:53)

We were introduced to this beautiful secluded beach yesterday by our friend Carol (who is in the process of having her account approved woohoo!). The kids had an absolute blast playing there because the water is so shallow. No drop offs at all and very minimal seaweed (just enough to have a good ol' fashioned seaweed fight with).

A natural kiddy pool (sans the oh henry bars). I hope...

It was a real slice of heaven...couldn't ask for better weather. These are the moments I feel so grateful to have given up the city life, that we can be surrounded by natural beauty every which way we look, and can be alone in nature just from driving a few minutes from our home.

The boys found a lot of really cool glass, shells, rocks and feathers. A lot of which we brought home. Carol bought some sea glass off of @kiedisbowes, our little business prodigy 😉 As soon as she said she would pay he was off looking for more. Stryder tried to sell her a rock hahaha he was not down for searching for the glass.

And that's it folks! I am kicking myself for not taking more photos, however, happy that I spent so much of the day just basking in the moment. I hope you are making the most of your summer too, if you live in a cool climate like us, we need to absorb every sweet second of this weather.

I hope you enjoyed this #WalkWithMe. Here are some recent walks with our STEEM Fam who got out there in the world, and took us with them.

Fire Walk With Me

We're gonna walk on fire :) !! Show me how :D !!

The trick is to wet your feet to take advantage of the Leidenfrost effect. If it works on molten lead I'm sure hot coals don't stand a chance.

Wow Lyndsay. I am so glad to see the back of all that ice and snow. It looks like a totally different world. Its so great when you discover a secret little place away from the crowds. Looks like a great place for a sundown BBQ and if the water is warm enough a sneeky little dip. Thanks for the walk. 😎😎❤❤

Ooh would be awesome to bring a grill down there, good idea!

I have my moments lol 💚

Why don't you join in

It would be a dream come true Marion. It would be so awsome to join the Bowes crew for For a Barbi and a beer.

yes :))) so much fun for sure

Thanks for the #walkwithme shout out, @lyndsaybowes! ✌💛

NP, thanks for using the tag NovaCadian!

really a slice of heaven!
great weather and perfect rest you've!
You're right during summer we need to absorb sun warmth and positive energy from nature to keep us strong during the whole year
Boys seem to have great time!

have you caught nature energy?)

Yes for sure I am taking in all of the energy I can from beautiful Mother Nature, and I'm so glad that time seems to be going by slowly this summer, it's only July 9th!! Woohhoooo still months more to go!

Wow! What a beautiful day at the beach! our beach is a lot calmer than ours. Ours is a surfer's beach so we always have lots of high waves. And our tide comes in quickly...but it looks an awesome day for the family.

Yeah we don't have much for wild waves in Nova Scotia, well, in Canada in general, can get some 5 footers in Lawrencetown here, but in the bay we're pretty chill.

The kids would just love big waves and watching the real surfers...

Watching yes. Participating, that's another story. There is a lot of coral about 00 meters out and there have been a lot of broken boards and limbs in the time we have lived here.

Thank you for showing this.

Nice photos!

Do you use discord? I send you message there.

Hi, thanks for another great walkwithme post...
does this heaven have biking trails? can someone get to the beach by bicycle?
I love canada's nature..

You definitely could take a bike to this beach, and Nova Scotia has thousands of wonderful bike trails... <3

I love how Walk With Me has totally inspired others to get out into nature. Are you familiar with the Japanese concept, Shinrin-yoku or forest bathing? I just love that.

I've never heard of that term before, but it sounds just right! Forest Bathing....yup...I believe I've done this...just never knew what it was called :)

As always, I love the virtual Nova Scotia trips.

I'm so glad that you came to visit again @barracudadiaries xo
