Walking Along And Some Reflections

Friends. As we begin our walk today through the part of the world that has been allotted to me. I am reminded of the words of a "wise man."
(Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.)
When he said that. His days were full of trouble as we can know by reading about his days at that time.
What is interesting to me though. Is the truth that most of our troubles we bring upon ourselves. Imagine that. Ha
So we walk. I have found that sitting doesn't have the therapeutic effect of clearing our minds as moving around does.
Walking brings new and exciting things for us. Sitting or idle time gives space for reflections of sadness and grief.
Not good.
So we move. And keep on walking. So, what do we see? I have recorded it for you.
I don't know what you like or what is interesting to you. So I add to my walk and work what I see and appeals to me. Maybe you will see something that is interesting to you too?
Since this is Florida. Boats are a common sight to see wherever you go.
Beautiful flowers and plants are common as well.

Some people work at making their place and property have curbside appeal.
This looks like the "pepper trees." While they look nice. They are an invasive tree shrub here in Florida. A continuing battle.
More curbside appeal.
Green grass anyone? I like the green color. It may be my second color choice.

Look and concentrate on the sign only. You are trying to buy property. Not the lady.

That wouldn't be a good idea. Just as eating too much food at one time. The appetite wanes.

Ok, I'll try not to ask to many questions Francis...but I do have one.
Do you have problems with chiggers where you live in Florida?
I noticed the photo with what looks to be a pine tree with some wisteria hanging off it. (2 pictures before the white house.) I think that would be perfect chigger habitat.

I have never noticed any chiggers here in Florida. I am not saying that isn't any here.
Just that I haven't had any experience of them.
Now, when I was working last summer in Sothern Ohio.
It was bad. I was being eaten alive. Ugh
Now the little "no see'ums" here is another matter. Sand fleas or whatever they are called are a nuisance.
That I don't like. Ha
I think that they are only near the coast. They are here where I am at. Ugh on that too. Ha

The yellow house could use a painting to a different color. The flowers are nice, looked like a fast boat there. Florida is beautiful in January.

Francis, today I had time on this lovely walk with You. You have shown a good view of the surroundings. So nice to see such bright nature in a warm climate. Lots of light and lots of sun. And all this under the pleasant music. Thank You Francis .

Really nice post Francis. I love all the green and the flowers. I like the boat too. Do you walk alone or with someone. I like walking with my son and when my granddaughter comes we walk a lot.

Most of the time I walk alone. Once in a while Pat will walk with me.
But, when she walks with me. We cannot go to far. She isn't able.
I might walk 3 or 4 miles at a time. She cannot walk that far. Maybe up to mile is it for her.
I run out of time. I have to go back most of the time. I would like to walk farther.
