Introduction

Before I start this post I just want to apologize to all my followers who read all of my Overcast posts as i have not done one in three days. I have been really busy over the weekend and just didn't have time to continue my posts daily, but I am now resuming my original posting timetable for all posts. So expect these Overcasts on the daily again, thankyou for your patience and continued support :)

Welsh Assembly Election Polls Today

Voting polls for the new Assembly election are now open today for all Welsh residents, and will decide who will preside over the seat left by the late Carl Sargeant of Labour. All five major national parties are available for votes including Liberal Democrats, Conservatives, Labour, Plaid Cymru and the Green Party. All national polls will be open until approximately until 10pm, so get to your local voting stations today to make sure that your voice is heard! Labour has previously held this seat for over the last decade under the recently disgraced Carl Sargeant, but this certainty remains absent this year due to Jack Sargeants focuses and methods for handling this election. Results will be released in the News early hours of Wednesday 7th morning.

Theresa May Blasted for Misrepresenting NHS Data and Making Wales Look Inneffective

The United Kingdoms Statistics Authority has recently backed First Minister Carwen Jones' claims that Theresa Mays representation of Wales' under performing NHS are bogus and falsified. The U.K.S.A's Chairman Sir David Norgrove has stated the the misconstrued NHS data comparisons are invalid, as they do not represent accurately the true waiting times faced by NHS patients in the country.

The data should exhibit the amount of patients that had to wait in Accident and Emergency rooms for more than 12 hours, based on their initial entrance to the hospital and then the time at which they are seen by a medical professional. However, May has ensured that England's data is considerably better than that of Wales by shortening the criteria for waiting times, meaning that patients waiting time before admittance is not to be counted. This led to an incredibly disproportionate statistic of 497 patients in England who waited more than 12 hours, compared to 3741 Welsh patients who waited over 12 hours.

Mays spokesman is insistent that England's NHS waiting time figures are better than Wales' and that the data is truthfully representative of NHS conditions nationally. But it remains a concern that a Prime Minister can misrepresent data to be better than it actually is as it provides a synthetic expectation of how the NHS is performing, and therefore means that any solutions devised will not be addressing the true extent of the problem. New software and technology has been called for thats better able to access and analyse data with efficiency in a transparent way, in order to reduce the fabrication of relevant data and improve the solutions provided by broadening criteria through honest reviews.

The NHS is a national concern right now and is something that requires full transparency and legitimacy when dealing with it's problems, as we can't properly address such shortcoming by falsifying data and providing marginal solution.
