Long Road

Along the path I strode
At an intersection I stood
Here it was, a cross road
Too long a walk to return.
Beyond was I at the threshold
Dreams pursued in untamed grasp
A path unruffled by none before
A city in sight beheld possibilities too large.
But, still I ensued
Further through the path
On goodbyes was my energy forged
On wishes was my strength hinged
Along the path I strode
Until I fail relentless I'll pursue
Uncertainty will guide
For life I'll find outside on paths untouched.
