Everyday you see me walk by you
Yet you never noticed me sulk away
You never stopped me to ask HOW ARE YOU?
because you have formed your opinion of how wonderful and perfect my life was.
And you took up the opinion of my happiness without ever asking if I was happy.

You that called yourself the spiritual one
Never did u stop to consider the fact that I needed love and not prayers.
Care but not fasting.
A big hug rather than a witty long sermon
and a thousand Bible passages.

All I craved for was just someone to pour my depressed thoughts on.
Not because you were going to solve them but because I just wanted to let it out.
You failed me when I needed a friend.
I needed love
I needed care
I needed a listening ear
All I got was loneliness and your idea of my perfect life.
So, I GAVE UP.

This poem was written from a depressed soul.
