On June 19-20, at the 2024 Global XEV Drive System Technology and Industry Conference held in Shanghai Jiading, VREMT was honored with the title of "NE Era Top High-Speed Motor Company" due to its strong performance in the electric drive system sector.
At the forum, Liu Bo, the Director of Electric Drive Products at VREMT, delivered a speech on the topic: 'Innovative Thinking in Power Electronics for Electric Drive Systems in the Age of Fierce Competition.' He discussed in detail the trends in high-voltage networks and electric drive systems with the audience and proposed strategies to enhance the competitiveness of VREMT's electric drive products through innovation.
The electric drive system, as the "core power" of new energy vehicles, plays a crucial role in key indicators such as vehicle power, economy, comfort, and safety. The application of high-speed motors can significantly enhance the power output and driving capabilities of new energy vehicles, achieving stronger acceleration responses while reducing energy consumption during operation, thus improving range performance. VREMT's electric drive systems, based on precise market insights, offer a rich and diverse range of systems, including the 400V 248kW motor drive system, the 800V 310kW motor drive system, the 800V 155kW2 dual motor drive system, and the 800V 310kW2 dual motor drive system. Through continuous upgrades in independent R&D capabilities, VREMT's electric drive factories have comprehensively upgraded areas such as motors, reducers, and electronic control systems, significantly enhancing the integration efficiency and power density of the electric drive systems.
Among these, the 800V 310kW*2 dual-motor drive system features a high speed of over 20,000 rpm, utilizing carbon fiber-wrapped rotor technology with a transmission efficiency of 98.69% and a total power density of 4.4kW/kg. This system has been applied in the Zeekr 001 FR model and has set a new record for production electric vehicles with a lap time of 1 minute 37.041 seconds at the Zhejiang International Circuit.
The award was given by a panel of experts in the electric drive system field and the NE Research Institute, aimed at discovering outstanding companies that drive high-quality development in the electric drive system industry and support the electrification transformation and upgrade. VREMT’s recognition as a “2024 China Outstanding Electric Drive Company & Outstanding Product” reflects the industry’s high regard for its leading position in the electric drive system sector.
Currently, VREMT’s electric drive systems are used by automotive brands such as smart, Volvo, Galaxy, and Zeekr. VREMT ranks sixth in the latest NE Era electric drive system installation volume list, demonstrating the trust and recognition from major automakers.
