Head of Indonesia Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Los Angeles, Antonius A. Budiman said the value of revenue can still continue to grow, considering some buyers are still in the negotiation phase.
"This is a proud achievement, considering this is the first time Indonesia participated in the exhibition of The NAMM Show," said Antonius in his official statement in Jakarta, Friday (9/2/2018).
The NAMM Show is a gathering place for the industry of musical instruments, sounds and global technology coming from 139 countries. The potential purchasing power in this event could be more than US $ 10 billion.
In the event, the Indonesian Pavilion features several guitar brands, such as Stephallen Guitars and iVee Guitars, as well as amplifier products, namely Sugar Amp.
Indonesia as a manufacturer of musical instruments has been known for its reputation in producing world brand musical instruments under the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) scheme. In OEM schemes, Indonesian musical instruments are packed with world brands such as Ibanez, Fender, Cort, and Wild Custom.
One thing that characterizes the brands of musical instruments from Indonesia is to show the form of the original culture of the homeland in various elements of musical instruments and premium quality sound amplifier.
"ITPC LA will continue to support Indonesian manufacturers entering the US market, where not only as a source of US brands, but also raising their own brands, including Indonesian instruments in the US market," said Antonius.
