Hi, may I ask, does this not mean that the people in the club will only vote for others within the club because they want a return for their vote which if this is so, means they are not curating other possible good articles from people who are not in the club ?
No "people in the club will only vote for others within the club". This is wrong. The club does not take your SP away or prevent you from doing with it what you normally do.
So the club is something you do in addition to you normal curation. The whole point is to allow you to do curation with your steem power, but also capture rewards.
Example: I go around steem reading and upvoting content i like. But then there is steem power left and also I need to capture some of the rewards for myself. The voteclub allows me to capture these rewards without delegating the power away to a voting bot where I straight up sell my voting power.
This way I can actually curate and use my steem power as intended but still get some of the reward benefit.
At the same time it only works if I write posts in the first place.

So I see that you delegated you steem away to profit from it.
This prevents you from curation and also does not give you the benefits of steem power when upvoting others. The vote club allows you to capture rewards while retaining your power and also makes your steem power act as a boost for your own post.
I have built it because I wanted to not give my SP away though delegation but also not lose all its value.
Well I've got to make money somehow. Given that I don't post everyday delegation is a good option for me. If steem goes back to how it was before the vote buying started I would hapily keep my steem powered up to curate good authors. But right now curating content is not lucrative at all.
But no matter why you created the club it is still a circle jerk isn't it? I am not against you creating it for what ever reason it may be. I'm just saying what the truth is.
