MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Solo:
    He would have to go solo because the hole, the size of ten quarters, was too big for the rest of the group.

  2. Solo:
    The soloist was last to leave the stage after if had been shot up by the one white person no one ever expected to cause such carnage.

  3. Solitary:
    This week I feel like I'm the solitary individual who can't seem to think of anything to write.

  4. Solitude:
    Those who have survived solitude like John Bunn have much to share with the general public.

  5. Soliloquy:
    I don't know if I've ever watched a soliloquy.

  6. Desolate:
    The desolate orbital station made Eric think of the time he spent in the laundry room to get away from his wife.
