MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. I consulted with an engineer to make sure my plans were up to par.
  2. The craftsmanship on my sneakers was subpar and they fell apart within 6 weeks.
  3. Vincent's job is to compare plastic sheets before we ship them to customers to make sure they are the correct length.
  4. Hickory Ave runs parallel to Maple Ave.
  5. My dad's priest is always disparaging the devil.

  1. If we had the pair in place of the subpar in this game, today we would be the world champions.
  2. I do not like to compare my children, I think it is an action that leaves psychological sequels.
  3. A very interesting theory says that in the infinite, two parallel lines touch each other.

  2. Subpar.
    Her grades for this semester are subpar; compromising her GPA for scholarship.

  3. Compare.
    The markup prices in this store are extravagant compare to the other store across the street.

  4. Parallel.
    All the tables in the dining area need to be parallel to each other for conformity to maximize space utilization.

  5. Disparage.
    Politicians are known to disparage their opponents to discourage voters on electing some officials for governmental office.

    We could hardly compare both player as they are both equally outstanding on the pitch

    The railway line runs parallel to the road, I hope now you could find your way from this point
  5. Disparage
    Max behavior was a total disparage to our laid down principles

  1. Intelligence of some animals in certain circumstances appear to be on par with that of a human person.

  2. Individuals who are subjected to subpar living conditions during their childhood development tend to lack in performence, both physically and intellectually.

  3. Quality of education between individual European States cannot be really compared.

  4. Two parallel lines can never meet, unless we throw euclidean geometry out the window, and place them on a curved surface.

  5. It have become a custom in feminist circles to hold ones gender, sex, race, or sexuality against them in order to disparage them.
