I'm so sorry about all the stuff you are going through.

In spite of all the demeaning and bullying tactics of the pharmaceutical companies, doctors, and garage scientists, many people are realizing that these are not the lifesaving advancement that we have been led to believe.

I am so grateful for you and people like you who have the courage to stand up and call for truth in the face of such a large and violent opposition. The progress we make now on this topic will save untold generations of lives later on.

My hunch was right re: what was causing the problem. This seems to work for me when I use Chrome instead of Firefox, so I can now follow you much better!!! Not to mention being able to start writing my own things.

Can you explain why you claimed: "They only pay out on severe injuries and Asperger's and Dysgraphia are not on the severe list for compensation" in the linked thread, despite it not being true?

According to http://myvaccinelawyer.com/vaccine-claims/the-vaccine-claim-process/, you only need to prove "that 1) the injured person received a vaccine listed on the Vaccine Injury Table and 2) that the vaccine caused the injury."

To win a VICP award, the claimant does not need to prove everything that is required to hold a vaccine maker liable in a product liability lawsuit. But a causal connection must be shown. If medical records show that a child had one of several listed adverse effects within a short period after vaccination, the VICP presumes that it was caused by the vaccine (although the government can seek to prove otherwise).

If families claim that a vaccine caused an adverse effect that is not on the list, the burden of proof rests with them

The only difference is that you have to actually "prove" (not scientifically mind you. many times health officials will disagree with the court's decision to pay out.) something if the claim isn't on the list.

I've talked numerous times about the issues with and illogical events within tecnosgirl story (which btw she has not shown a shred of evidence for)

Chances are that tecnosgirl legitimately believes that her son's condition was caused by vaccines. However, if this was to be looked at by a professional, they'd clearly see that vaccines have nothing to do with it at all. Studies have shown again and again that there is no link between them. Additionally, many papers to the contrary (including the one that is considered responsible for the anti-vaxxer movement) have been retracted as they couldn't stand up to repeated testing.

To the people who will call me a pharma shill or suggest that these studies have been somehow bought and paid for, I suggest you look at the study that the anti-vaxxer group SafeMind partially funded. (Spoiler: it came to the same conclusion as all the others and SafeMind got pissed)

It speaks volumes about the anti-vaxxer movement when they are more willing to believe a random person on the internet who has never provided proof of any of her claims rather than evidence that comes from repeated experiments and peer review. Quite frankly, if you look at the anti-vaxxer movement, you will find the many of the same people who believe in such nonsense as flat-earth and chemtrails. (Don't believe me? Just look at the people's previous posts.)

At the end of the day, vaccines are safe and effective for the vast majority of the population. There are some people who have adverse reactions to vaccines and they will be recommended to avoid them, but you will notice that these adverse reactions aren't autism or any condition like it.
