Official ICO Live Auction Thread for VIVA Right Here on Steemit

VIVA is the price stable crypto currency with reliable income features.
It was introduced to the world by @williambanks over the course of several postings.

Part 1 : Introduction to a Price Stable Crypto Currency With Basic Income
Part 2 : VIVA Components Explained
Part 3 : VIVA Components Explained - Part 2
Part 4 : Bootstrapping the VIVA Economy

In order to guarantee an income for all participants, the VIVA economy is structured around the interplay of several economic layers.
Three of these layers are crypto currencies that serve specific purposes within the ecosystem.
The fourth layer is a fiat gateway with debit Mastercard issuing capabilities.

This auction is the first of it's kind in the world!
Round 1 is comprised of several batches, each batch corresponds to a milestone and we try to hit one or two milestones a week.

Auction Details:

There will only ever be 42,000 VIVA Crowns.
The first 4,000 are to be distributed over the course of 4 rounds.
After ICO there will only be One Crown found per week!

Each batch or round corresponds with a milestone we've reached.
Creating the exchange and fiat gateway was our first milestone and began the launch of the live auction for VIVA Crowns, our fundamental base layer.

For batch 2 we finished our ICO website www.vivaco.in

For batch 3 several milestones were reached, including our prototype key management tool, our wiki and forums.

For batch 4, less milestones were acheived but these ones are much more critical.
We've finalized the wallet design and we are releasing our core crypto system to testers and developers.
You can go to the viva slack channel for an invite to that.

These auctions serve several purposes.

  1. They allow us to perform adequate price discovery, because when we speak to institutional investors they want to see that.
  2. They give everyone a chance acquire some while the price is low.
  3. We use the powered up steem to provide upvotes to our developers as a perk to help attract and retain top talent.
  4. We show demonstrable progress in development and community outreach.

We believe that everybody should have the opportunity to benefit from the explosive growth we're about to undergo.
Running the auction here is our way of saying thank you to the steem community for everything you've done for us.

Rules:

  1. The auction is still priced in USD.
  2. You can settle in any currency supported by @blocktrades.
  3. There are only 50 VIVA Crowns available in this batch.
  4. You have up to 7 days to settle.
  5. Your bid is per unit of currency.
  6. You can specify the number of units you want at settlement.
  7. For your bid to be accepted it must be at least as high as the minimum bid and at least $1 higher than your previous high bid.
  8. The auction closes at post payout

In the last round, @liondani put in a bid of $555 and was the high bidder, then we had a private sale at $559, meaning that this batch opens at $560

To bid, just say something like...

I bid $567.00

This is a fill in auction, there are 50 coins available this batch, please hold off on announcing how many you are bidding on.
The highest per unit bidder at close will get first say on how many they want, then the second highest bidder, then the third etc until this batch is completely sold. Winners will be invited to our private slack from CrownHolders only.

Keep in mind that this is a carry over auction. While we do allow fill in bidding within a batch, the ceiling of the previous batch becomes the floor of the next. Bidding starts at $560!
Happy Bidding!

Five hours to go.... Will there be Bid sniping again or are we heading towards the end of price discovery? :) Popcorn is popping!

Where do I find that podcast? I m sure I am not the only one looking for it. :)

Wow the prices are super high. I'm out.

I bid $561

Thank you for bidding @elpollus
You are currently the top bidder at $561, followed by @onceuponatime

Hi @elpollus, you where the 3rd highest bidder at the end of the auction. Could you please contact me in steemit chat (I have the same username there) to discuss how many crowns you would like.

Oh yes... And you can sale them later. We will need sell less the the previous. If that's not fair I don't know what is.

Keep in mind you can buy one crown, no need to buy the entire batch. Also there is a 50% discount code to be found in the steemittalk podcast. Wait until you see the next rounds, you ll come back and say how cheap it was today... ;)

Interesting post. Interesting to see I'm not the only one that is thinking about this. What if you give somebody a lot of money, they are less likely to work hard, smart and fight for their secure future. Starting a business is simply not easy. Companies have fight and go through the darkest times to get there. Starting of with a big bunch of money that most of this icos don't have simply doesn't help. Does anyone know about: https://www.coincheckup.com They researched and analyzed every tradable coin out there.

Hi! I am a content-detection robot. I found similar content by the same author:

Thank you for bidding, but can you move your bid outside of a reply to @cheetah?
He's not bidding and he's about to be made invisible.

Yes that's correct, each batch is very similar to the previous batch, ergo the auction text is about the same.
Seriously @pfunk or @anyx what is up with @cheetah lately?

I just whitelisted you, but I'm not sure what you mean by 'whats up with cheetah lately'? Feel free to send me a message on steemit.chat.

@anyx Cheetah never used to chime in on content when the blogger is linking the source and making references to it. 3rd or 4th time in the past couple of weeks she's been doing that on people.
