What a great way to learn and keep every student engaged and immersed in the material at hand. There is a company by the name of ClassVR www.classvr.com that has a Virtual Reality/Augmented headset that is made with the student in mind. Not only do they have their very own special headsets but there is a ClassVR portal where you can find numerous resources on ready made collections of lesson plans or any type of educational content. You can also find resources to create your own lessons and upload your own VR material including images and videos. They will they provide you with conventional worksheets but VR and AR worksheets as well. How cool is that. I think I want to be a kid again.
There is ‘holodeck‘ interface that can be used almost like a virtual desktop of your classroom. Teachers can direct each student to their desired subject and simultaneously download the same material to each and every student’s headset. The teacher will have their own special software allowing them to see where each student is looking in their virtual world. From there the possibilities are unlimited to what can be presented to the students. ClassVR provides virtual classes to the teachers as well to make sure they are able to use the equipment and software to their utmost potential.

ClassVR isn’t just for young school children. There is content for universities, military and defense training, real estate, public attractions, and corporate training.

There are currently 5 schools in the UK that are part of the ClassVR Pioneer School Program. According to their website:

“The ClassVR Pioneer School initiative has been created to establish a point of excellence for ClassVR usage and a regional point of contact for schools looking to understand how Virtual Reality can engage their students and offer a new immersive element to their teaching and learning.”

Just as a side note, I am not being paid by ClassVR nor am I associated with them in any manner. I honestly just came across their site and thought what a great idea and a great product they have and I figured I would share it with the Steemit community. Comments are always welcome and upvotes are much appreciated.
