So here are the factors to consider in starting up your own phone repair business:
A background in cell phone repair
It is important to remind yourself that when it comes to any business, you must be well-versed with the ins and outs of the product or service you are trying to sell. Knowing the parts and components of a mobile phone and proper techniques for repair will go a long way when it comes to guaranteeing quality service for your customers. Having knowledge of advanced repair techniques and being able to repair cell phones from a variety of manufacturers will distinguish you from other repair businesses. If you do not have hands on self taught experience we recommend attending our course, this will be valuable in not damaging customers devices.
Get the tools and supplies ready
Your business and phone repair technicians cannot fully operate without the right tools and supplies in hand. The Cellbotics cell phone repair training provides a list of the tools required to successfully start your repair business. We also provide MANY vendors that provide high quality and low prices. Most tools are less then $600 total to start a shop... well with the right vendor list!
Computer
You will need a computer for tracking and ordering parts and inventory as well as reviewing device repair guides and schematics. As a Cellbotics graduate, you will also use your computer to access our cell phone repair training graduates website, cellboticstech.com, where we will continue to provide you with support and information about changes to device repairs and the cell phone repair industry.
Choosing the right location
Carefully decide where to set up your cell phone repair training business. Locations can include everything from free standing retail store locations to a kiosk in the mall. Be aware that mall locations typically have much higher rents, but often have potential customers walking through the mall all day every day. Free standing locations will have lower rents, but will require more marketing to successfully build a customer base as people have to know where you are located.
You can also start from home and even run a mobile business out of a work van!
