FirstBlood Token - Gamers Unite!!
If you're a gamer and a cryptocurency enthusiast then you might want to give FirstBlood a look. FirstBlood is a platform being designed currently that will make gaming matches fair for games that have cash prizes for participating winners.
You can also earn rewards by witnessing matches and voting in gaming juries. I liken it to getting paid to be a referee in a sports game.
There have been gaming tournaments in the past that offered cash prizes and some team managers were hiding the results of these matches from players and taking a huge amount of the profits for themselves. FirstBlood saw an opportunity to correct this by making a platform where all game progress is recorded on a blockchain where it is immutable and undeniable.
The first game that they are offering on FirstBlood platform for the beta stage is DOTA2 which is a game that is almost a complete copy of League of Legends. No offense to the DOTA2 team, but man it sure looks a helluva lot like League of Legends. It has the same team base setup, market, etc.

I've played the game myself and it is fun. It has the same feel as League and if you were a League player then you'll feel right at home here.

I just invested in this last week for the long haul. When I see coins like this, I feel required to invest in them: I mean, the coin is named after a Rambo movie, you get to gamble, and it's related to video games. Outside of the aspects that make it cool, they should continue to gain popularity every time they support another game. In time, once they've supported enough games, they will have a very strong community of gamers backing it, and that will be hard to break, in my opinion.

It really is. With the technology of today, we are living in a time where we are being supported to do the things we love to do. I mean, this coin alone could allow not only those who play video games to make a living, but those who are fans of it, as well. You also have Youtube alternatives, additional media sharing platforms, Steemit, and so many other sites creeping up that will allow us all to do what we love to do, and we can profit from it. I think that is just awesome. If this continues, we will soon have a ton much amazing content because we've enabled people to actually produce it (and make a healthy living by doing so).
I'm invested for the same reasons. Rambo, video games, gambling... yeah, very cool. I share your excitement for Steemit and other blockchain platforms! What an opportunity to do the things we want to do, and shift the course of the future. Looking forward to the next games supported by FirstBlood.

good post! I like the idea of this coin! do you think Dota 2 will be successful? If it is then you might have a winner, but if it flops it could mean trouble for the coin.
DOTA2 is already an established game. I was asking my boss' kid the other day if he's ever heard of it and he said absolutely. If he knows of it then that's a good sign. DOTA2 isn't the only game that will be included on the platform either. They have plans to add others. Thanks for reading!

Not that there's much of a difference between the two games. They're both wildly popular.
Any word on shooters? I could see games like the new UT or CoD giving this service a much-needed boost.
LOL. My bad. I played L.O.L. way before I even heard of DOTA. Thanks for the correction. They don't have any news out yet of what other games will be added, but they are planning on adding more. CoD would be my wet dream come true LOL :)
Personally, I'd love to see Pandemic SWBF2 or some of the older UT games get added. I have far more fond memories of UT than CoD.
