[ANN] Vimm Status Update - Welcome our new team member!

Welcome maxofp2p to the curation team

Please take the time to welcome maxofp2p to the vimm team. In the last weeks we’ve seen a huge influx from new users, especially from the Polish region. As we dont’ want to lose touch with the Polish community and be sure their feedback, comments and suggestions get heard, we felt that it is time we expanded our curation team with a Polish representative.

First we want to take the time to thank all the people that applied for the position. We’ve had some very strong candidates and making this decision wasn’t easy. However, the huge amount of interest there is in this position assures us that the Polish community is set to go and we hope to have our first Polish events coming up soon.

About maxofp2p

Max has everything we searched in a curator. He watches a lot of streams, engages with streamers, streams himself and socializes a lot with the community. He will be the-to-talk-to-guy if you need any help.

Vimm.tv Status Update

Some of you may have noticed, the last few days have been a real test for our server. As we are looking at all the options for scaling, we’ve been working hard to push some optimizations to our infrastructure in preparation for the upgrade which should already improve performance.

The most important change for streamers is the new URL for the RTMP server. Make sure you’re now using:
rtmp://us.vimm.tv/live
