Most viewed Music Videos on YOUTUBE
So was creating a playlist of music on YouTube and got to asking myself, "what are the top watched music videos on YouTube". I figured I'd put anything worth playing on my own playlist. I managed to work out how to do the search and was a little surprised at what people think are good songs, the songs they obviously keep returning to. A few are quite old (in Pop music terms) and I'm not sure you would say they are the top songs today but I suppose the longer a video is on YouTube the more views they will receive the more comments they get and the subscription rates keep climbing.
Also the income from these songs would be amazing. I've heard the amount bandied about being 1000 views per dollar, I dont know if this is correct as I think there are a lot of variables added such as subscriptions, how many 'Likes' and how many comments (with music artists they may well have contracts in place with Google/the record label) but even if we take that figure and work out how much earned per billion views, it ends up being a serious load of coin.
That all aside - I thought Id let you decide if these are the top 20 songs you enjoy my Steemit friends and let me know in the comments below. I also created a top 20 playlist of these songs so you can listen to them at your leisure. I might even revisit this in a few months time to see if any changes have occurred.
