Welcome to my blog this week, and taking part in this week capcut learning challenge is unique. This app is unique and all features are necessary with its own beautiful uses which are being put together to achieve a beautiful video.

This week lesson are on the following tools

  • Zoom function in the timeline
  • Edit Menu
  • Adjust duration / Cut
  • To divide
  • Sort clips
  • Video speed

Edit Menu

Main button for editing, so while using this button, you can edit your videos using different options that will be open for you.

The scissor icon represents edit bottom and this is what we use to editing videos. So once clicked on edit, split comes first so we want to use that option, split.

Zoom function in the timeline is also used on a short clip to zoom in the clip then on it the timeline it will expand the number of ratio.

Adjust duration / Cut

It is easy to be done and adjuste the process if not needed.

Adjusting is very easy, but it has to be done wisely not adjusting every video clip and special effects the meaning or the end result the reality of the video.

It is done by first of all highlighting the clip we want to adjust, then a rectangular form with edges will pop up on the timeline side so we can drag the end of the clip to adjust it and if that adjustment is not needed any longer we can also drag it back to expand.

To divide

This option can be achieved by using spirit and cut options. Using this picture below let me explain it.

1000558851.jpg11000558853.jpg21000558854.jpg3
  1. it shows a long cusor line which indicates exact place on the video to work on, so it means that point we will split the video and that is the beginning part.

  2. It shows the last part of the video that need to be splited and cut out.

  3. The full splited video clip which is form is shown here. So at this point, you can choose to either split it cut it to another location or delete the clip if not needed.

In this video I deleted some clip out, and I made sure it wasn't a butt that is interesting in the video. I deleted some parts that I was washing the soybean because watching it over and over again can be so boring . So I selected this part and deleted it off making sure that the remaining ones will join together without being noticed as unnecessary transition.

Sort clips and Video speed

1000558882.jpg1000558881.jpg

So while sorting the clip, I needed to use the final part of my soy milk production to be the first parts of the video then I continued with the process on how I made it. To achieve this I already shows how I splits it and cut then I dragging it to the beginning of the video which is the place I wanted to attached the clip.

So I attached the clip at the beginning of my video which shows the final results of my soy milk production followed by the process on how I made it.

So after I finish editing it I now speed the video to 1 minute and 30 seconds. Not all clips were the same ratio because there are some clips that needed to be seen and there are some that I needed to add more speed. For example the washing of the soybean part, it can be boring watching the same process over and over again so I speed it up faster than other steps.

I finally achieved a 1 mins and 30sec video.

Original

Finally result after applying the tools

I made a video of me producing soy milk, the process is long as it requires more time in peeling off the soybean skin.

At first I started with soaking the beans for some hours then I peel off the skin and using water I separated the skin from the beans. So that's why you see me washing the beans over and over again just to take this peel off the soybean and after that I blended it using my blender.

I blended it till smooth and then the next think you will see me do is separating the beans after blending. Using a white cloth material I strained the milk out. Then after everything I cooked they soy milk when it was done I leave it to go cold then fill the milk in the plastic bottle and served it.

Thank you for reading my post, I appreciate.

¡Holaaa amiga!🤗
