BTS’s new mini album has already broken many K-pop records all over the world!

The group’s mini album “Love Yourself: Her” featuring the title track “DNA” came out on September 18 at 6 p.m. KST. 

Since that time, the mini album has taken the No. 1 spot on iTunes Top Albums charts in 73 regions! This is the highest number ever for a K-pop artist.Those regions include the United States, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Côte d’Ivoire, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Latvia, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Mexico, Myanmar, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Palestine, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam.

BTS’s title track “DNA” came in first in 29 regions on the iTunes Top Songs chart, including Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Chile, El Salvador, Estonia, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Laos, Lithuania, Malaysia, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Singapore, Slovenia, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam.In addition, BTS’s “DNA” took the No. 4 spot on the iTunes Top Songs chart in the United States.This means they have broken their previous record for K-pop groups that they set when “Spring Day” 

BTS’s “DNA” has also become the Fastest K-Pop Group MV To Hit 10 Million Views

BTS’s new MV reached 10 million views on YouTube in an incredibly short amount of time!The group’s new mini album “Love Yourself: Her” and the bright and fun music video for the title track “DNA” were both released on September 18 at 6 p.m. KST.At around 2 a.m. KST on September 19, “DNA” hit 10 million views on YouTube. This makes it the fastest K-pop group MV to reach the number as it took only about eight hours!The record was previously held by BLACKPINK’s “As If It’s Your Last,” which reached 10 million views in approximately 17 hours.

This new record of eight hours is particularly amazing considering that BTS’s “Not Today,” their last music video which they released only seven months ago, hit 10 million views in 21 hours and 37 minutes.Meanwhile, “DNA” has also already gained 1 million likes on YouTube.Watch BTS’s record-breaking new “DNA” MV here:
