Vespa spartan 200cc

Vespa Spartan adalah sebutan lain untuk Vespa varian PX 200 versi Indonesia. Seperti beberapa varian versi Indonesia lainnya, Vespa Spartan, dengan kapasitas mesin 200cc, juga memiliki perbedaan dengan Vespa PX 200 versi Italia. Produksi awal Vespa Spartan pada tahun 1984 menggunakan bodywork yang serupa dengan Vespa Exclusive pada tahun yang sama. Bentuk horncover atau dasi pada Spartan sudah menyerupai Vespa PX versi Eropa dengan sudut-sudut yang agak menyiku, dan di bagian tebeng samping sudah terdapat emblem bertuliskan “P200XE”. Bentuk jok juga identik dengan Vespa PX versi Eropa generasi pertama, yaitu jok single seater dengan pegas di dalamnya. Namun yang menjadi pembeda pada varian Spartan adalah tulisan “SPARTAN” dengan garis panjang horisontal pada sisi kulit joknya. Meskipun demikian ada sebagian kecil Vespa Spartan yang dilengkapi dengan jok pisah seperti pada varian Vespa Exclusive dengan tulisan “SPARTAN-XE” di jok belakang sisi belakang.
