CHRISTMAS DINNER AND TOYS TO VENEZUELAN CHILDREN!

This initiative is based on an idea in common with my mom, because when I was young towards this kind of thing.

With the help of my family, I was able to make this wonderful moment for the children of our town that would not have Christmas dinner in their homes thanks to the situation that Venezuelans face, I know that maybe they have heard that many times but it does not stop be a reality.

We begin with the search for used toys in good condition in the homes of well-known people, we wash them and restore them to give them to the children.

Then begins the process of making the Hallaca (typical Christmas food in Venezuela) is very similar to tamales Mexican, although it is not the same .. this is filled with a stew made with flour and pieces of meat in squares with their respective dressings, some make raisins, eggs, carrots, it depends a lot on the tradition and the region where it is being made.

As a second step, place a thin layer of dough on the banana leaves and on top of the stew, fold it in a square shape, then tie it to hold the leaves.

Thanks to my sister who is a baker, she made the ham bread that can not be missed in a Venezuelan Christmas dinner but it is too expensive in bakeries.
