The clock of Güigüe and its curse
Hello friends of steemit today I want to tell you about the guigue clock, my town where for many years the legend of the clock and its curse have been heard.

*In Venezuela, especially south of the Lake of Valencia in a town called Güigüe, it speaks about an ancient clock, created by Spanish artisans in the mid-nineteenth century, it is multifunctional, besides giving the time, it also has a thermometer, a barometer and a artistic vane on top. *
The same has two plates that says: "Hacienda El Trompillo, General J.V. Gómez" and the other has written: "The Trompillo, height above sea level 472 meters, distance to Maracay 58 Kms."
He was brought to the town by the person who at that time was president, the Venezuelan Antonio Guzmán Blanco, in order to count the working hours of his workers who tended their lands.
The story begins when the clock changes hands, a dictator who governed Venezuela, General Juan Vicente Gómez, who also used it for the day in their lands, they say that shortly before his death knowing that his property would pass to other hands He cursed the clock. When he died, the clock stopped, marking the time of his death according to the tales of the town's way.
After this, he was transferred to the town completely decomposed, since previously it was located in the central courtyard of the Hacienda El Trompillo, to be currently located in the Avila de Guigue square, next to the church. It was repaired and marked the parochial hours of the town, until one day it stopped again at the time mentioned above, many say that the person who repaired it died a few days later, an Italian man, was an operator of said clock and when In order to rape him, he returned his native land, it is said that on the same day of his arrival he died. In order to convince himself that the watch has a curse, Andrés Mijares attempted to repair it. He had been very friendly with the Italian, to pay tribute to his memory, he decided to repair it, making the clock go but this time only for 24 hours, when he returned to stop to mark the time of his death.

Nobody dared to touch it, after many years a watchmaker offered to fix it and after a bit of difficulty I managed to start it for a few weeks before stopping abruptly, at the same time this watchmaker lost his life in a nearby city .
Since then the legend was spread throughout the central region of Venezuela, that the one who repairs "El Reloj de Güigüe", who prepares the testament because he has only a few hours to live. Tell me what you think of this story, and if you know others about objects that have any curse, share!
In addition to what I had already heard, I want to mention a page that helped me.
