Vegas: Who's tried the tip trick at check in?
A couple of friends and I recently went to Vegas for the NBA Summer League championship game and last minute I booked a room at the Paris. I had trouble with the auto check in and the manager went out of her way to help me. It was sort of late when we got there, so I thought, in return for her nice and helpful attitude, I'd give her a 20% tip on the room price. She lit up immediately, changed my room, and ended up waving all fees; which was way more than the tip I gave her.
I ended up finding this site; http://www.frontdesktip.com/faq/ ; seems like some people have had good success with the tip "trick".
Has anyone tried this "trick"?
