Hahahahahaha THIS IS GOING TO BE PERFECT! He needs inspiration! :) Just so you know, today I was making nice cream and poppa comes into the kitchen and says, I'm craving some spaghetti which means tomato sauce, onions, garlic, more garlic, hamburger meat (or whatever that ---- is called, pasta and spices... his specialty and he picked up a bag of my gluten free pasta, threw it back on the shelf and went out for pizza -_-
It's funny that for some people it's easier to transition to a plant-based diet by remaking the foods they know and love, while others need a complete change because they feel like the remake will never stand up to the original. Even funnier when you think about all of the things that make food taste so great (herbs, spices, garlic, onions, citrus) are all plants anyway!
I know, it's crazy! I was that way and in fact, still very much am. The yogi diet is very much in trend here so no onions and garlic and that's where I draw the line ;) I LOVE food so I get ideas about things I used to eat and then have to make them fit into my new realm. Poppa just said to me the other day "Why do vegans have to have all the same food we do? Why don't they just make their own?" Obviously we do make our own but I had to explain exactly that to him, that it's nice to have the remixes to go back to sometimes which he understands, he is going to love your pasta post, I know it :)
