It's definitely worth to give it a try.
Working with Illustrator is surely a great pleasure, especially if you know all the features and know what plugins you need. Unfortunately, I can't afford it right now and Inkscape does it job quite well – at least for my requirements. ;)

Cool, i used a few years ago. Now i only use illustrator because is kind of industry standard and I use all kind of plugins for it.
