The problem with the debate over vaccines, as with many things, is that people have convinced by those with vested interested that there are only two options, either support government mandated vaccines without question, or reject vaccines all together. The truth is that vaccines, when used properly, can be a valuable tool to preventing disease. At the same time, as this article points out, they are not always effective. Nor should we trust a deeply flawed government to decide what substances we are all forced to inject into our bodies and the bodies of our children.
