Apache Cordova or what was called previously Apache Callback or PhoneGap. More specifically, It is a framework which is classified as an open source project. It allows users to create several applications for different platforms (As for Android and IOS....).

Applications developed thanks to this tool are hybrid, that is mean that they are not really native, neither based on HTML language or such an equivalent one.

About my twelfth contribution to the project Cordova.

The difficulty of the contributions is rather at the same level from now on, for the fact that you meet the same challenges or technical issues. One of the challenges that I came by was the terms between <0> and </0>, some of them are translatable and some aren’t (concatenated technical terms) which is always a bit confusional: whether keep the original version or actually translate them. But with the help of the context requirements plus the specs of the Cordova project, some -now- seem to be needing translation to keep the general meaning intact.

This contribution’s difficulty resides in the use of technical terms and others rather more related to their context than to the general use. The research was mandatory in this case in order to get the right term for the right context. Some examples are as follows :

String:

While the literal meaning is actually multiple threads of a certain material or more, in programming a string is a data type used, such as an integer and floating point unit, but is used to represent text rather than numbers. It is comprised of a set of characters that can also contain spaces and numbers.

Meta tag:

Meta tags are snippets of text that describe a page's content; the meta tags don't appear on the page itself, but only in the page's code. In other words, they are little content descriptors that help tell search engines what a web page is about.
