Utopian.io - experience, disappointment. [💰↻50%]

This is the translation of my article. Made at the request of Aleksandr @kwaskoff

A week ago I decided to try to post my video tutorials through utopian.io and several people were asked to share their impressions.

In order not to be rude, I decided to wait a little and calm down before posting a review.

In short, the situation looks like this:

• They refused to support
• Part of the payment for the article was taken away

Now a little more detail. Let us remember how the beneficiary payments for the article are calculated.

1. First, out of the total payment is deducted part of the curatorial. Accordingly, the part of sbd is transferred to vests (sp) at a bad exchange rate
2. The beneficiary payment (which utopian is set at 25%) is subtracted from the remainder and is also converted to vests
3. Now there remains only the reward that the author will receive. 50% in sbd, and another 50% in vests

What is remarkable - after payment Steemit displays only the curator part of the payment and the author's part of the payment - the beneficiary part of the payment remains hidden. But you can see it in steemd!

And now let's see what the utopians told me.

1. Your video is too short (Which does not contradict their own rules)
2. In the video you copy-paste. (To save time for the audience, I used the automatically generated password)
3. Make the video longer. (I even try to cut every breath I breathe out to make the video as short as possible and do not take a lot of time from the viewer)
4. Since our bot did not support your post, we will not receive any payments from it. (A lie that is easy to see in steemd!)

What is the result? If you do text or video lessons and at the same time respect someone else's time - do not use the platform of utopians.

Otherwise, you not only will not get anything, but also lose some of the payment for your post.

Since for utopians the main thing is not their own rules, but the personal opinion of each moderator.

If you make long article/ videos - you can try. But do not forget that part of the payment for the article will be taken away in any case - whether they support you or not.

As you can see, from my post the utopians got a little more than 1k vests. It's about 0.5sp or 2.15sbd.
