uBlock Origin should block mining scripts by default
There are some online mining scripts that are used to mine crypto currencies by using the electricity of those browsing the website. Brave browser blocks them by default. But other popular browsers like Firefox and Chrome allow them. They are also not blocked by uBlock by default.
In order to block them, a uBlock Origin user has to manually install the mining script blocking list to it or add the filter in the custom filter list. Mining scripts are generally unethical and use the electricity of users without their knowledge.
So, I would like to suggest that uBlock Origin should block these malicious scripts by default. Blocking them is very easy. uBlock only needs to add a new list to its existing blocking lists.
Also, I am not the only person to request blocking of such scripts by default. Searching the internet seems to show some other users of uBlock would also like to see this change.
