This is a mishmash of some different concepts to help give people some ideas (and something that I want to evolve before final submission:

• making things involve using tools (used to create the letter 'S')
• the output are objects (used to create the letter 'M')
• some link to the blockchain (the block)
• show how the label @steemmakers fit into the design (I chose a more handwritten type of font to suggest making things by hand)
• concept can be more concrete like the tools
• concept can be more abstract like the block

I like the idea of something that looks slightly unfinished because making things is the process of getting something completed. Hope that gives you some ideas to think about :)
