I see this has been rectified. I wonder, what specifically does the upgrade button do? Does it open a link to the downloads page or it automatically starts the download?

The PO labeled it a possible-bug. I think there exist other independent ways to upgrade the app. The upgrade button is not a major feature of the music player.
